Honest second opinions,
from humans.
Everyone relies on AI for everything, and we lose an honest opinion. ratemebro is a place for developers to trade real first impressions of each other's projects and ideas.
How a review works
- 01
Guess from the name
You see only a project's name and URL. Write down what you think it is before you look.
- 02
First impression
Open the site, then come back with your gut reaction and answer the maker's short survey.
- 03
The reveal
Read what the maker hoped you'd notice at first glance, look again, and tell them whether it comes across.
House rules
- No email
- A username, a password, and a security question for recovery.
- Humans only
- Use your own thoughts and opinions, not AI.
- Give to get
- You can read as many reviews of your project as projects you've reviewed.
- Real but kind
- It doesn't have to be positive, but it should be useful.
Only share what's needed
The URL, a name, the concept you want people to get at first glance, and the overall purpose.
